I What is BESC certification in Togo?

BESC Togo is a certification document that must be issued for shipments to Togo. According to the laws and regulations of the the Republic of Togo, all shipments to the port of Lome in Togo or to other destinations via this port must apply for the Togolese BESC, the electronic cargo tracking list (BESC).

ECTN stands for Electronic Cargo Tracking NOTE, and its French name is BORDEREAU DE SUIVI DE CARGAISN, abbreviated as BESC, which means Electronic Goods Tracking Note in Chinese.

II How to apply for BESC certification in Togo?

The application regulations for BESC in Togo are as follows:

Each bill of lading requires at least one tracking document, and in addition:

Container: Each tracking slip can only be sent to five containers;

Bulk cargo: Each tracking note can only be sent up to 300 tons;

Rolling car: Each tracking sheet can only be sent to one rolling car;

Application process for BESC certification in Togo:

Step 1: Provide your company's detailed contact information, such as company name in both Chinese and English, address in both Chinese and English, phone and fax numbers, email address, and contact person. Please provide the shipping information, such as the total number of shipments and the shipping details for each shipment (20 'or 40' containers, quantity of loose cargo or rolling stock).

Step 2: Our company will issue an invoice to your company for arranging the remittance. Your company remitted the money to our company's account. The invoice will specify our company's account number and other remittance details. Attention: According to the regulations of the relevant authorities, the original tracking form must be completed and issued within 8 working days after the ship leaves the port. Those who exceed the deadline must pay a fine.

Step 3: After the goods are transported, your company needs to fill out the application form and email or fax it to our company along with a copy of the bill of lading and commercial invoice, in order to prepare the BESC draft for your company's approval. Your company must carefully review and approve. After your company approves the BESC herb, our company will send this BESC to the authorities for approval. Once approved, BESC cannot make any modifications.

Step 4: The original BESC document (in PDF format) approved by the authorities will be sent to your company via email. Your company needs to print out this document or forward the attachment to the consignee, freight forwarder, or shipping company at the unloading port. BESC has five original copies. Our company will inform the relevant units via email on how to allocate them. Your company must strictly follow the instructions of the authorities to allocate.
