1、 What is Equatorial Guinea ECTN

According to the latest regulations of Equatorial Guinea authorities, the ECTN (BESC) policy will be implemented from July 1, 2016. All goods exported to Equatorial Guinea must apply for an ECTN at the port of origin, and the destination port must provide a formally approved ECTN certificate for customs clearance. Otherwise, the destination port will be unable to clear customs and will be required to pay a fine.

ECTN is the abbreviation for Electronic Cargo Tracking NOTE in English, also known as BESC. BESC is the abbreviation for BORDEREAU DE SUIVI DE CARGAISN in French, and is collectively referred to as Electronic Cargo Tracking Note in Chinese.

2、 How to apply for Equatorial Guinea ECTN

Documents required for ECTN application:

1. Complete ECTN application form

2. Scanned copy of export declaration form

3. Packing list and invoice for customs clearance at the destination port

4. Scanned copy of original bill of lading

ECTN processing procedure:

1. Please send the application documents to our company according to the above requirements

2. After receiving it, our company will issue a formal quotation and the applicant will arrange for the remittance

3. After receiving the remittance, our company will issue a draft certificate

4. The applicant confirms the draft and supplements the materials (note: once this draft is confirmed, no changes can be made, please carefully check the ECTN draft)

5. Our company has pre validated the certificate and generated an ECTN number

6. Once the ECTN number is generated, the applicant must provide a scanned copy of the original bill of lading within 3.5 days

7. Our company issues the original certificate.
