1. Introduction to ISO9001 certification
ISO9001 certification is one of the core standards for quality management systems included in the ISO9000 family of standards. The ISO9000 family of standards, a concept introduced by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 1994, refers to "international standards developed by ISO/Tc176 (International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Quality Management and Quality Assurance).".
ISO9001 certification is used to verify that an organization has the ability to provide products that meet customer requirements and comply with applicable regulations, with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction. With the continuous expansion and increasing internationalization of the commodity economy, this certification is impartial and scientific, independent of the economic interests of both producers and distributors, in order to enhance product credibility, reduce repeated inspections, weaken and eliminate technical barriers to trade, and safeguard the rights and interests of producers, distributors, users, and consumers.
All enterprises that have obtained ISO9001 certification have met international standards in the integration of various management systems, indicating that they can consistently and stably provide customers with expected and satisfactory qualified products. From the perspective of consumers, the company is customer-centric, able to meet customer needs, achieve customer satisfaction, and does not mislead consumers.
The concept was proposed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 1987, referring to "the international standard developed by ISO/TC176 (International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Quality Management and Quality Assurance). ISO9001 is used to demonstrate an organization's ability to provide products that meet customer requirements and applicable regulatory requirements, with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction. It also serves as a basis for customers to audit the quality system of suppliers, ensuring that enterprises have the ability to meet the technical requirements of their ordered products.
2. Conditions for certification
To obtain quality system certification for ISO9001 certified enterprises, two main aspects of work should be done: first, establishing and improving the quality assurance system, and second, handling various tasks directly related to system certification. Regarding the establishment of the quality assurance system, it is still necessary to start with the allocation of quality functions, prepare quality assurance manuals and procedural documents, implement the manuals and procedural documents, and ensure complete quality records. The main tasks directly related to system certification include:
1. ISO9001 requires comprehensive planning and preparation of a system certification work plan;
2. ISO9001 requires mastery of information and selection of a certification body;
